The U.S. House of Representatives passed the bill unanimously on March 20th, with all 414 members voting in favor.

The bill will now be debated in the Senate, and will become law if it passes the Senate and is signed by the President.

Looking ahead, Chairman Rodgers said: 'We are encouraged by today's strong vote and look forward to building momentum to pass this important bill and a more comprehensive privacy bill this Congress. ” said.
