I tried assembling Oxalis oxalis and Kanenonaruki with the ``Mini Ornamental Plant Set'' that allows you to make plant models with Lego.

The LEGO® Icon Mini Plant Set is a set that allows you to assemble blocks to create nine different plant models. LEGO provided this to me as a prize for

the December 2023 reader giveaway project , so I decided to see what kind of plant models I could make from inorganic blocks.

The package of the mini houseplant set looks like this. It seems that you can make plant models of various sizes.

The target age is 18 years or older, and the total number of blocks is 758.

Inside the box were 6 bags containing blocks and 3 instructions.

The instructions include illustrations of assembly steps.

By assembling the blocks in the bag No. 1, you can make 'Sankaku Oxalis' and 'Kaneno Naruki'.

The contents of the bag look like this. Relatively small blocks were packed into sachets. The blue tool in the lower right is a remover used to separate blocks.

If you assemble it according to the instructions in the instructions, you will have a flowerpot.

Below are the white blocks that will be used as flower stems and the purple blocks that will become petals.

By combining the white block and the purple block, you can create a Sankaku Oxalis like this.

This is what it looks like when you set Oxalis in a flowerpot.

Assemble the remaining parts to make Kaneno Naruki.

First, assemble the base and exterior of the flowerpot.

This is what it looks like when the exterior is attached around the base.

Attach curved blocks to the edges to complete the flowerpot.

The blocks that make up Kaneno Naruki look like this.

Combining blocks creates branches and teeth.

Attach the leaves to the branches.

Kaneno Naruki is completed. The shape of the leaves is exactly like that of

real Kaneno Naruki .

Set the completed Kaneno Naruki in a flower pot.

When you set Kaneno Naruki in a flower pot, it looks like this.

When set in a flowerpot, the total height of Oxalis spp. was about 50 mm, and the total height of Kaneno Naruki was about 81 mm.

With the mini houseplant set, you can make models of a variety of plants, including Anthurium, Venus flytrap, Spermia moss, Pitcher plant, and Cactus, in addition to Anthurium annuus and Anthurium japonicus.

In addition, the mini houseplant set is available at Amazon.co.jp for 6891 yen including tax at the time of article creation.
