The owner of Seattle Coffee Gear says he is ``thankful'' that no one was hurt because a thief entered at closing time. In his five years in business at Alderwood, he recalled, 'Never before has something like this happened.'

``The front door was locked, but the thieves pried it open to enter the store,'' said Eric Marks, regional manager at Seattle Coffee Gear. 61 x 46 cm), and the end was the back room of the Apple Store. It is believed that the thief sneaked into our store to sneak into the Apple Store. Our store is the Apple Store and I didn't know they were next to each other,' he commented.

According to Linwood Police, the crime took place on Sunday, April 1, 2023, and it seems that Apple Store employees were unaware that they had been stolen until the next morning.

'A total of 436 iPhones were stolen,' said Linwood Police Communications Manager Maren McKay. 'A total of $500,000 worth of iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches were stolen.'

Surveillance cameras in Alderwood showed footage of the robbery, which Lynnwood Police said was 'a well-organized operation.' However, since the investigation is still underway at the time of writing the article, it is said that the video of the surveillance camera cannot be released.

The total damage on the Seattle Coffee Gear side, which was used as an intrusion route to the Apple Store, is said to be about $ 1,800 (about 240,000 yen).

Assuming all stolen Apple devices are up-to-date, Apple could remotely block serial numbers and IMEI numbers on stolen products. However, stolen devices may be resold to buyers who are unaware that the product was stolen, and the device may not be activated after resale.
