Pink and heart-shaped Shiro Noir 'GODIVA Shiro Noir Kyun Heart' tasting review supervised by GODIVA Chocolatier

From Friday, February 4, 2022, GODIVA's Chocolatier supervised ' GODIVA Shiro Noir Kyun Heart ' at Komeda Coffee's ' Shiro Noir ' where you can enjoy the melting of soft serve ice cream on the hot and crispy Danish pastry. It has appeared. It is said that it is a heart-shaped Shiro Noir using ruby chocolate that appeared as '

the new flavor of chocolate for the first time in 80 years ' in 2017, and it actually looks quite different from the usual Shiro Noir. I've eaten it.

Arrived at Komeda Coffee Shop.

When I got to the table, I found a pink menu, so I ordered it immediately.

After waiting for about 5 minutes, 'GODIVA Shiro Noir Kyun Heart' arrived.

For normal Shiro Noir, you can choose a smaller 'Mini Shiro Noir', but for 'GODIVA Shiro Noir Kyun Heart', only one size is available. The total length is a little smaller than the iPhone SE 2nd generation with a long side of 138.4 mm.

The height is like this.

There is plenty of ruby chocolate sauce on top of the heart-shaped Danish pastry. The exceptionally dark sauce on top of it is the Franboise sauce.

Soft serve ice cream next to Danish pastry. In addition, couverture chocolate is sprinkled throughout.

Since the Danish pastry is divided into 4 parts in advance, there is no need to cut it.

First, take a bite of Danish pastry with plenty of ruby chocolate sauce. Although the amount of Franboise sauce is small, it firmly insists on the aroma and acidity, and as a whole, it has a 'rather berry-based taste'.

However, contrary to the strawberry milk-like color, ruby chocolate has a unique sweet aroma and acidity that is a little different from berries, and it is not as berry-like as it looks. So is it the so-called rich taste of chocolate? It's not as heavy as chocolate ... it's hard to classify in the existing sweets frame. Maybe this is the taste of 'ruby chocolate' sweets.

The sauce is sticky and entwined with the tongue, so it's a good balance with a light soft serve ice cream. I don't really feel the taste of couverture chocolate, but it has a crispy texture.

Just like regular Shiro Noir, you can enjoy hot and cold sweets called soft serve ice cream that melts on a warm Danish pastry. Unlike the usual Shiro Noir, which puts soft serve ice cream directly on the Danish pastry, the soft serve ice cream is on the plate, so it melts slowly. The good thing is that you don't have to rush to eat.

It's voluminous, so I'm satisfied with just one, but it's also good that it's sour and not too sweet. It goes well with coffee.

'GODIVA Shiro Noir Kyun Heart' has a calorie of 491 kcal per meal, and the price is 650 to 670 yen including tax, which varies depending on the store.
