Meta introduces 3D avatar to Instagram, cross-platform support

The avatars introduced on Instagram will be available on Stories and DM. In common with avatars that can be set on Facebook and Messenger, it is possible to synchronize avatars for all services or set different avatars for each service. The avatar function for Instagram has been released in the United States, Canada, and Mexico from January 31, 2022, and will be gradually expanded to the whole world.
