The 4th animation production of 'Golden Kamuy' depicting a survival battle over gold nuggets is decided



A special event of 'Golden Kamuy ', which has been animated three times in the Weekly Young Jump series, was held, and the production of the fourth period of animation was announced.

'Golden Kamuy' is the hero of the Russo-Japanese War, 'Immortal Sugimoto,' who aims to achieve his promise with his best friend who died in the war. Hijikata Toshizo and his colleagues are fighting for the tattoos of 24 jailbreak prisoners who have carved a huge reserve and a hidden place that the Ainu once collected and stole somewhere. It is called 'Yaminabe Western'.

The first period of the anime was broadcast in the spring of 2018, the second period in the fall of 2018, and the third period in the fall of 2020.

In the 4th period, animation production has been changed from Geno Studio to Brain's Base, which is known for 'Rinne of the Boundary' and 'Penguindrum'. The director (chief director) is Mr. Shizutaka Sugahara of the 'Rinne of the Boundary' series, 'D-Frag!', And 'Grimms Notes The Animation'.
