Although it is an old fantasy movie released in the US in 1982 and in Japan in 1983, it is still a favorite movie.

The directors are Sesame Street Jim Henson and Frank Oz (also famous for Yoda's voice).
An animatronic puppet show with no human actors.

Since it was a movie of the era when there was no VFX by 3DCG, all the modeling was made by hand, including the appearance creature and the background art.
I personally think that the splendor of this modeling is the biggest attraction of this movie.

The creature design by Brian Fraud and the modeling by Jim Henson Creature Shop are really amazing.

Recommended for fantasy enthusiasts (especially those who are drawing or modeling).
