"I became CEO at 20. The university dropped out, and until then I only had the experience of interns. In retrospect, as I wrote the code all day long, I got into a company with 300 employees I was not able to imagine a journey to becoming, I was fortunate to have lost a lot of times and I got a lot of help and I have learned the following contents. "
1 / I became "CEO" at 20. I had only interned somewhere prev. Looking back, I could not imagine the journey that would happen from writing day to scaling to 300 people. I got lucky , I screwed up a lot, & amp; had a lot of help. Here's what I learned ...

"It was hard for me to give up controlling things and it was the hardest thing for me.In the first stage all the things seemed to be important but I can not get skilled to everything As I grew, I learned the importance of consciously continuing to give up something, otherwise your company will not grow big and everything will be badly affected. "
As you grow, I learned it's important to conciously give up things constantly If you do not, you will not scale & amp; everything suffers.

"Venture capital investing in you will not try to harm your mood, so I will say to hire a CEO coach and carry out my own 360 degree check every few years It has changed my life for me, I can not modify everything of myself. You should focus on 2 to 3 things every year and make the content clear inside the company. Then you will earn trust. "
3 / Your VCs will not want to be to you so I'd like to get it a CEO coach & amp; do a 360 review of yourself every few years. You can not fix everything about yourself. Focus on 2-3 things each year. Tell your company you're doing it. It'll build trust.

"Over time, you will feel that you can not practice by taking the time to attend meetings, but that's what you are doing, now your job is to help others by means of conferences. Do not refuse, please accept. What you need is to transform that work into fun and productive one "
4 / Over time, you will feel like all you are doing is spending time in meetings but not getting any real work done. embrace it. Now's the time to design it to be fun & amp; productive.

"Let's find a good mentor (leader), please give me the impression, pull it up when you are depressed, when you are in a good condition, look for someone who will admonish properly. Ideally, if you are a CEO or a person with experience as a founder, you are the best because you can sympathize, but to keep in mind they will be guided but they will make all the paths It is not. "
5 / Find a great mentor: Pick someone you want to impress. Ideally, they've been a CEO / founder I will lift you up when you are down & amp; take you down a notch when you are over confident. before so they can empathize. Remember though: they offer guidance, not a script.

"To act together with the belief that" you must make a team that can accomplish a mission even if you do not have it. "By doing so you can reduce the stress in the long run and always exercise your authority to others When giving up forgetting the chance to start a business, remembering yourself and remembering it is money, power or?
6 / Live by the mantra: "you should be building a team that can fulfill the mission without you." If you forget, try & amp; ask yourself why you started This thing in the first place. Was it really about $$ / power / ego?

"Power = responsibility. It is lonely to be a CEO when you can not express weaknesses as much as you thought and you can not earn trust. Is other entrepreneurs who are sincerely touched to yourself Enjoy dinner together, share the problem open to the public, I was encouraged when I was hard, this will bring good change. "
7 / Power = responsibility. Being CEO will become lonely as you can not be as vulnerable & amp; authentic as you 'd like. Have dinners with them & share problems openly. I' It made the difference. It made the difference.

"Do not avoid confronting important decisions and avoid addressing important decisions and trying in front of you. Running away from the problem of grudge amplification every time will slow down the company's movements and bring the relationship back to an irrevocable level It makes it worse and creates instability, but the other party to face is "problem", not "person"
8 / Do not avoid confrontation with tough, critical decisions - deal with it head - on. Avoiding confrontation, builds resentment over time, it slows the company down, & amp; relationships eventually turn sour in a irrevocable way creating instability. , not people though.
- Suhail (@ Suhail)May 21, 2018
"Even if you did not think so, you may end up going wrong with people inside the company, you might get disliked from everyone. In such a case the word" sorry, failed " , The most powerful word you can say, though it will not solve the problem "
They may even dislike * you * for a long time. The words "I am sorry. I screwed up." Are some of the Most powerful words you can ever say to someone. It will not always fix it though.

"Your work is 90%" listening "and 10%" speaking. "I needed to make twice as much effort as a person so that this was not bad and I did not get in the way of others. The best solution I found was to write the content of the conference, so that I can listen to the content of the remarks and show the attitude of listening to the remarks I can"
10 / talking. I made bad at this & amp; had to work 2x as hard at not interrupting people. Best solution I found after 9.5 years was to write things down during a meeting. It made me focus on what they were saying & amp; showed I was listening.

"As the organization gets bigger and the distance to the actual customers gets closer, the insight into the customers and markets gets worse and worse: to give someone the power and to be responsible. Learning from them When spending time and making decisions, make thorough judgment based on facts, not on their opinions. "
Stick to the facts, not their exhibits when making decisions 11 / Your intuition about customers / the market will get more and more. .
- Suhail (@ Suhail)May 21, 2018
"As it grows it becomes harder to find the truth and it will be the most important thing you can do in leading a company. If you find the truth and make it material it in some way To incorporate it as a part of corporate culture I have always formed this by constantly asking employees "what was actually true"
12 / Discovering the truth ___ _ ___ ___ ___ 0 ___ ___ ___ 0 ___ ___ 0 ___ ___ 0 what the actual facts were.
- Suhail (@ Suhail)May 21, 2018
"Many times when the meeting is going on, controlling your own mood, sometimes the content is terrible and sometimes experiences a miserable meeting, but the content of the previous meeting has nothing to do with the participants of the next meeting Please remember that you are looking forward to seeing you or may feel pressured. "
13 / Control your mood meeting-to-meeting. Sometimes you will have a bad / devastating meeting but try to remember that the next set of people do not have that that & & may be excited / stressed to meet with you.
- Suhail (@ Suhail)May 21, 2018
"We are all human beings and have unstable parts, so consider considering hiring a therapist who will take care of your personal psychology, if that is what you do If you think that it will become a blemish, let me tell you the fact that I myself have done so.While I thought it was disgusting at the beginning, but that is a mistake, now it is from the earliest stage of my life I hope I did it better. If you can bring it to private life too, its value will increase further. "
I was wrong & amp; wished I had done this earlier in I had done with helping with my personal psychology. It will be invaluable if you tend to bring it home.
- Suhail (@ Suhail)May 21, 2018
"In the end, please continue to strive for better, I will not be able to fix past failures, but I can make the future better, I will not give up.When I make a heavy decision, I value myself carefully Worth thinkingPrincipleBe sure to find out what is. It itself will make a long journey worthwhile. "
15 / Finally, keep working hard to improve. Do not give up: when you make make hard decisions, you get to know which values / principles you truly Stand for. That alone makes the journey worth it.

Suhail at the end of advice with very implications, "If you have not seen it yet, please also read the thread I wrote about financing" and introduced the following tweets. It describes the suffering to raise funds and the way of suffering after successful procurement.
1 / Let's talk about fundraising: In 2009, Y Combinator only gave us $ 15K, half our YC batch died after demo day, 11 firms told us no, 2 firms wanted to find us a CEO, 1 VC told me, point blank, we would fail, we were a week away from death but luckily raised $ 500 K @ 2 M pre.
