Twitter reports that 274,460 accounts related to terrorism have been suspended for half a year from 1 July 2017 to 31 December 2017. By stopping this account, Twitter has announced that the cumulative number of terrorist related accounts stopped during the period from August 1, 2015 to December 31, 2017 has cumulatively reached 1,215,77.

According to Twitter, 93% (about 255,000 ID) out of the 274,460 accounts that stopped was stopped after identifying it with its own internal tool. Furthermore, about 74% (about 189,000) accounts out of the tools specified by the tool were suspended before making the first tweet.

According to Twitter, the previous transparency report says that "the request from the government" was less than 1% of the total, but this time the transparency report has decreased to less than 0.2% of the total, It is evidence that the effect of the original tool is increasing.
