Western Digital announced two SSDs, WD Blue and WD Green, both of which have two types of form factors: 2.5 inch and M.2 2280.
Three WD Blue interfaces with SATA 6 Gbps and capacities of 1 TB, 500 GB and 250 GB are prepared, and it is a high-end SSD which is required to have high processing capacity. Average power consumption is 50 mW, 545 MB / s for models with sequential reads 1 TB and 500 GB, 540 MB / s for models with 250 GB. Sequential write is 1 TB · 500 GB is 525 MB / s and 250 GB is 500 MB / s.
WD Green is an entry-class SSD, and two types of 240 GB and 120 GB are prepared. Average power consumption is less than WD Blue 50 mW. Sequential read is 540 MB / s for both 240 GB and 120 GB, sequential write is 465 MB / s for 240 GB model and 430 MB / s for 120 GB model.
WD Blue and WD Green have already published product pages, only WD Blue has been on sale.
