You can see what PC is "Novena" from the following movie.
When a man presses both ends of a blue machine ......
A display expands in the opposite direction to a normal PC.
I am using the keyboard in front of the PC. This is the desktop type of Novena, and notebook PC type and wood notebook type are also produced.
Andrew Fan, one of the producers, is using the PC. He gains knowledge of engineers from hacking "Hacking the Xbox"I also write a book called"
The main board used for Novena looks something like this, all information about the board isPublish as open sourceIt is being done.
Heat sinks and expansion parts are attached to the board.
Specifications are as follows.

USB OTG - enables laptop to spoof / fuzz ethernet, serial, etc. over USB via gadget interface to other USB hosts
Utility serial EEPROM - for storing crash logs and other bits of handy data
Spartan - 6 CSG 324 - packaged FPGA - has several interfaces to the CPU, including a 2 Gbit / s (peak) RAM - like bus - for your bitcoin mining needs. Or whatever else you might want to toss in an FPGA.
High-speed I / O expansion header - useful for implementing a wide variety of functions, from simple GPIO breakouts to high-performance analog data sampling front-ends
The blue case is named "Gen-2 hacker Case" and it features opening in the opposite direction to ordinary laptop. Opening the display exposes the board, so you can access the inside without a driver. Screw holes for board fixing are equally spaced on the bottom surface.
Simple aluminum bezel with various port holes opened can also be easily removed. Since two bezels are attached, including a spare for each unit, it can be broken or used for customization.
The following is a set of all parts as a notebook version.
When I fold the display, it looks something like this. The source code of the OSPublished on GitHubIt is the owner's freedom how to modify and extend both boards and OS, as it is the world's first open source PC.
External connection port is USB × 2, stereo speaker jack × 1, HDMI × 1, LAN × 2, AC × 1
