Nippon Car Daigaku (NATS) trains technicians engaged in the automobile industry that nurture students with technologies and abilities worldwide and contribute to the development of the Japanese automobile industry in the spirit of construction I am a school. Students made an electric car that they wanted to ride, they wanted to ride themselves in one year and said they exhibited at the Tokyo Motor Show 2013.

This is the EV car "NATS EV - Sports Prototype 02" produced by the student

Dynamic design is exactly right for the EV car. Body is FRP, of course all handmade.

Like a fighter plane, a vertically aligned bicamella seat.

A large hand grip is attached to the rear seat.

The number "02" number attached to the rear of the body represents that it is Unit 2. Students at NATS exhibited "NATS EV - Sports Prototype 01" at the Tokyo Motor Show 2011 and attracted attention, but this time, he said that he developed Prototype 02 of the EV car with a completely new design from the beginning.

Powerful rear view is like a car that came from the near future.

Instead of number plate, display is attached.

The interior of the cockpit is also overflowing with a near-futuristic display, finished enough to make me excited just by watching it.

Handle center meter is also future design.

The total length is 2677 mm, 1344 mm, the total height is 1010 mm, the weight of the car is about 350 kg.

Battery is 12V55Ahx6 (72V specification).

When I asked the students of the production team who told me about the booth "Lithium ion battery?", I got an answer saying "I am a lead-acid battery" unfortunately. It seems to be an option within the limit of 2 million yen budget.

The maximum speed is 65 km and the cruise distance is 65 km. If it is a lightweight, high-performance lithium-ion battery, we are looking forward to seeing how much performance it will improve.

In the attractive exterior, the supervisor who supervised the concept design designed by the student himself / herself refined the details in detail.

It is an amazing workmanship as an EV car by the private operator's hand.

In fact, it is this movie that you can see how NATS EV - Sports Prototype 02 runs.
