It is an infograph that you can understand at a glance that "Which country has the longest working hours among the 29 countries in the world?" "Economic Cooperation and Development Organization (OECD)Based on the data in the table, the total of paid working hours and unpaid work hours (domestic affairs, shopping, etc.) done per day is shown for each country. Also, in this infograph, since data such as "difference by gender in hours of unpaid work such as housework etc." is also listed, it seems to be a good gimmick to think about how to use everyday time.
HR Environmental Scan? Work hours around the world [infographic]
This vertically long image is an infograph that summarizes "Which country has the longest working time among the 29 countries in the world?"
The gray graph represents the average public paid working hours or study time in a day, and the slightly bluish graph represents the free hours of work. The sum of the two is a yellow graph.
I will look at position 20 from 29th. The lowest (ie the country with the shortest working hours) is Belgium and the average working hours per day is 7.1 hours. It was 0.3 hours less than Denmark of 28th place, and it was at the bottom of the dignified. While only European countries such as Germany, France, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom are ranked in, the Republic of South Africa is in the 26th place. Also, in any country, paid labor is longer than unpaid work, especially in South Africa. By the way, the paid labor in Denmark is exactly 3.75 hours, it is the shortest in the world.
Then ranked 10th from 19th. As we have changed, Asia, Oceania, Europe and many other countries rank in. As a result that Australia and Turkey have slightly more unpaid work than paid labor. To the contrary, South Korea has overwhelmingly long paid labor of 5.8 hours, but unpaid work is 2.3 hours and the world's shortest.
And ranked fourth from ninth. It is conspicuous that China, like Korea, has a large difference between paid labor and unpaid work. The United States with a strong image of developed countries was ninth.
Finally I am ranked third from third place. Portugal of Western Europe is ranked in the total of 8.8 hours in the third place. The second place is 9 hours in total in Japan, resulting in a difference between paid labor and unpaid work more than Korea and China. The paid working time of 6.3 hours is the longest in the world. And Mexico was chosen as 1st place. 9.9 hours has been overwhelmingly working hours, unpaid work hours are the longest in the world. By the way, the data on the lower right shows the average of the world. The average working hours seems to be slightly longer than 8 hours.
This chart shows the difference between men and women at the time of gratuitous working hours, and it is derived from the average value of the world. According to this, cooking is the most time consuming for both males and females, but women seem to be four times longer than men. Also, while men use only 10 minutes to clean, women take 43 minutes, and on the contrary they are only 13 minutes for men and 3 minutes for women on a day-to-day work such as assembly and repair. Women are taking more time on unpaid work such as shopping and caring for children overall than men, but it is interesting that only volunteers did not see the difference between men and women.
