Steam engine for radio control that is so beautiful as to be decorated as it is

Electric motors are most often used as the power source for radio controllers, but some are using gasoline engines or steam engines to move radio control. Because these engines are bigger and more prominent than motors, not only power performance but also appearance and sound are important factors.

The 49th Shizuoka Hobby ShowThen, the Saito Works exhibited gas engines of various sizes and forms, and a steam engine for the radio control which is so beautiful that you can decorate with only the engine itself. Unfortunately there was no demonstration of gasoline engine, but the demonstration using the aquarium was carried out for the steam engine, attracting attention.

The driving part and the boiler part are adapted to combine their favorite things according to the size of the radio control.


At the booth, a demonstration using actual products has been performed, changing the direction of rotation of the screw by the propo at hand, and ringing a whistle.

This is the boiler which is the heart of the steam engine. It is the chimney that protrudes up from the right end.
