Finally the world's first "8x LCD TV" to appear

According to this article, LG Electronics in Korea is going to exhibit liquid crystal televisions capable of displaying 8x speed at CES, the world's largest consumer electronics trade fair to be held in the United States from Thursday, January 8th.

This liquid crystal television enables display of 480 frames per second while the conventional liquid crystal television displays 60 frames per second and "double speed liquid crystal" displays 120 frames, and the response speed is 4 ms.

This means that we can display a smoother image than before, and we are planning to release it as a high-end model in the second half of 2009.
