"Internet 2" will be 100 Gbps in fall of 2007
The next target is incredible speed of 8.8 Gbps every second, but in the autumn of 2007 it will reach 100 Gbps level. Almost one DVD can be transferred in a few seconds. It is a level saying that it takes time to write to the hard disk. It seems that you think that it will be about 80 times faster than the current bandwidth. I do not know when it will be available for "Internet 2" for consumer use, but it is great expectation.
