Snapdragon X Elite benchmark results appear on the internet, defeating Intel and AMD's flagship CPUs



Benchmark results for

the Snapdragon X Elite , a PC SoC that Qualcomm plans to release in 2024, have been posted on the score aggregation site of the benchmarking app Geekbench. The published benchmark results make it clear that the Snapdragon X Elite has performance comparable to Intel and AMD's flagship CPUs.

The Snapdragon X Elite is an SoC for PCs equipped with an Arm architecture CPU, a 4.6 TFLOPS GPU, a 45 TOPS NPU, and up to 64 GB of memory, and is appealing for its high processing performance and low power consumption. Qualcomm claims that the Snapdragon X Elite is up to twice as fast as Intel's i7-1360P and i7-1355U in CPU performance, and that power consumption at peak performance is reduced by 68%. Compared to the AMD Ryzen 9-7940HS, GPU performance is up to 80% higher and power consumption at peak performance is reduced by up to 80%. It emphasizes that it is more powerful than Intel and AMD chips.

The benchmark results of a PC equipped with such a Snapdragon X Elite were registered on the Geekbench score aggregation site on Monday, April 1, 2024. The name of the PC used for the benchmark was 'LENOVO 4810UV0100', with a single-core score of 2427 points and a multi-core score of 14,254 points.



Below are details of the PC used for the benchmark. The OS is Windows 11 Pro Insider Preview version, and it is equipped with a Snapdragon X Elite with 32GB of memory.



If you check the single-core score ranking on the Geekbench

benchmark results list page , you will see that the single-core score of 2427 points is higher than AMD's Zen 4 generation processor ' Ryzen 7 8845HS ' and Intel's desktop processor ' Core i5-13500 '.



In addition, the multi-score of 14,254 points exceeds the multi-core scores of AMD's desktop processor Ryzen 7 8700G and server processor EPYC 7713 .
