This is what the packaging for 'National Mystery Noodle Tour: Kawasaki Ahomen' looks like.

The word 'Ahomen' is written in large letters on the side.

Aho-men is a type of tanmen (noodle soup) that originated at the Chinese restaurant 'Manraku' near Kawasaki Station (which has since closed as of the time of writing), and is stir-fried with a large amount of garlic. 'Ajo' means 'garlic' in Spanish.

The soup contains soy sauce, pork extract, chicken extract, pork fat, onion extract, fish sauce, and seafood extract, in addition to plenty of garlic seasoning and garlic paste. The toppings are a simple combination of garlic, onion, and green onion.

Each serving contains 382 kcal.

When I opened the lid halfway, I found a packet of liquid soup inside.

Pour hot water up to the inner line, and wait 5 minutes while the liquid soup warms on top of the lid.

After 5 minutes, add the liquid soup.

Mix everything well to prevent the soup from settling at the bottom, and it's done. The strong aroma of garlic is already wafting around.

Upon tasting the soup, I noticed a soy sauce-based flavor with a punchy garlic taste and a hint of spiciness, while also tasting of the mellow umami of the vegetables. It's nice that it's not just overwhelmingly garlicky.

The noodles, which are just the right thickness, are thoroughly coated in the soup, and as you slurp them, the aroma of garlic spreads in your mouth, making you want to eat more and more. It was a bowl of ramen that allowed you to fully enjoy the deliciousness of garlic and seemed like it would give you a boost of energy.
