A taste test review of Häagen-Dazs' 'Crispy Sandwich 'Peanut & Butter Caramel',' which offers two sweet flavors: peanut butter and butter caramel.

Haagen-Dazs is releasing a new limited-edition Crispy Sandwich, 'Peanut & Butter Caramel,' from August 18, 2026. This sandwich features rich butter caramel ice cream and a sweet and salty peanut butter sauce sandwiched between cocoa wafers. I received one from Haagen-Dazs a little early, so I decided to try it out.

I took the Crispy Sandwich 'Peanut & Butter Caramel' out onto a plate. The coated ice cream is sandwiched between cocoa wafers.

When cut with a knife, it looks like this. The outside is coated with butter caramel, which has a crisp texture and rich sweetness. The ice cream is butter caramel ice cream with peanut butter sauce, and the creamy sweetness of the ice cream is infused with the aroma of peanuts. In the center is peanut butter sauce, which spreads an even richer flavor with more aroma and sweetness, so you can enjoy different levels of sweetness as you eat. The ice cream part has a peanut flavor and is richly sweet, but the cocoa part is slightly bitter, so the overall taste and aftertaste are elegant.

The Crispy Sandwich 'Peanut & Butter Caramel' will be available for a limited time starting August 18, 2026. The manufacturer's suggested retail price is 373 yen (tax included).
