I am trying to sign in to my Google account by entering my password.

However, I cannot sign in because my password is incorrect.

A new way to sign in that frees you from the hassle of managing passwords is by using a 'selfie video.'

To use the selfie video feature, you need to follow the instructions and move your head while filming from various angles. This registered selfie video is then compared with another selfie video you film when signing in to verify your identity.

Please note that selfie videos are designed with privacy and security in mind. Selfie videos belong to the user and are under the user's control. Videos are recorded with the user's consent, stored securely, and can be deleted at any time through the Google account. Videos are used only to assist the user in signing in and will not be used for any other purpose unless the user chooses to share them for that purpose. Selfie videos are encrypted when stored, so they are stored securely even when not in use.

Furthermore, when you sign in using a selfie video, we implement multiple security measures to prevent impersonation, such as using fake photos or videos (deepfakes, etc.). For example, we verify your saved selfie video and ask you to perform a simple action to prove that it is a live video. We also implement Google's standard security measures to detect and prevent suspicious sign-in attempts.
