Taste test review of 'Maji Mori Kuro Mayu Toripaitan,' a ramen dish featuring noodles coated in a rich chicken broth and garlic-infused chili oil.

On July 13, 2026, Toyo Suisan released ' Maji Mori Kuro Mayu Toripaitan .' It is described as 'a rich chicken broth ramen with the fragrant aroma of roasted garlic that stimulates the appetite, perfect for summer when appetite tends to decrease,' so I tried it to see what it tasted like.

This is the 'Magical Serving of Black Garlic Oil Chicken Broth Ramen.'

A special oil packet for later use is attached to the top of the lid.

The special oil contains chicken extract, pork fat, flavored oil, and spices. The toppings consist of four types: seasoned ground meat, fried garlic, bamboo shoots, and green onions.

Each serving contains 545 kcal.

Remove the special oil, open the lid halfway, pour in hot water, and wait for 4 minutes.

After 4 minutes, add the special oil.

Mix well and it's done.

Black chili oil floats on top of the white soup.

It's characterized by a subtle aroma of burnt garlic. It pairs well with the smooth chicken broth. The 'burnt' element of the flavor is mild, making it easy to eat. I was pleased that the minced meat in the toppings was well-seasoned.

The suggested retail price for 'Maji Mori Black Garlic Oil Chicken Broth Ramen' is 278 yen (excluding tax).
On Rakuten Market, a pack of 12 is sold for 3,670 yen (including tax), which is about 306 yen per piece.
