Grok Imagine Video 1.5 is now generally available on the xAI Imagine API. Consequently, Grok Imagine 1.5 Preview, which was previously available as a preview version, will no longer be supported.

Additionally, Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Fast, a high-speed version of Grok Imagine Video 1.5, is now available for the web , iOS, and Android versions of Grok.

Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Fast nearly doubles the video generation speed compared to previous models, capable of generating a 6-second 720p video in approximately 25 seconds. Previous models took over 40 seconds to generate a similar video.

HEAVY PULP , a creative experimentation platform for VFX artists, is collaborating with xAI to create and publish videos using Grok Imagine Video 1.5 Fast.




xAI will be rolling out new features to improve creative workflows in stages over the next few days. The new features scheduled for release include 'Projects' displayed in the left sidebar, 'Multiple Agents' which allows multiple agents to run in parallel on a project, and 'Search' which enables library searches.
