The Data Center Construction Ban Bill ( 2025-S10642 ) is designed to give policymakers time to understand the environmental and energy price impacts of large-scale data centers. This bill mandates that state environmental agencies prepare impact reports assessing the electricity, water, land, and pollution generated by data centers.
