Burger King has released a new addition to its 'One Pounder' series, which features four flame-grilled beef patties: the ' Smokehouse The One Pounder, ' which uses chopped bacon and a smoky bacon sauce. I brought home two Smokehouse The One Pounders. The One Pounder is quite large, and it was recommended to order a half-cut, so I ordered one as a half-cut.

I cut it in half to take a look at the cross-section. Cheddar cheese is overflowing from between the four beef patties.

When you lift the bun, you'll see that it's generously topped with Burger King's newly developed, rich and smoky 'Special Smoked Bacon Sauce' and creamy 'Mayo Sauce.' Also, the long, thin strips on top of the beef patty are chopped bacon.

I took a big bite out of the Smokehouse The One Pounder. The rich, meaty flavor of the four beef patties and the two sauces create a truly indulgent taste, with the smoky flavor of the sauces making it even wilder. Because there are four beef patties and the meaty flavor is so strong, the bacon flavor might be a little weak. The sheer volume of meat is incredible, but the acidity of the pickles and the mayonnaise sauce give it a slightly refreshing aftertaste.
