Levin is specifically designed to share a portion of the Anna's Archive dataset, distributed via BitTorrent , using only the surplus resources on the user's PC or smartphone. It operates only while idle and allows you to use a specified amount of storage.
According to a post by Yoav on Hacker News , he claims that 'without Anna's Archive and similar projects, LLM would not exist,' and that he 'wanted to use LLM to develop Levin.' In fact, there was an instance where ' it was revealed that Meta was training its AI with 81.7TB of data, including pirated content .'
