Levin is specifically designed to share a portion of the Anna's Archive dataset, distributed via BitTorrent , using only the surplus resources on the user's PC or smartphone. It operates only while idle and allows you to use a specified amount of storage.

According to a post by Yoav on Hacker News , he claims that 'without Anna's Archive and similar projects, LLM would not exist,' and that he 'wanted to use LLM to develop Levin.' In fact, there was an instance where ' it was revealed that Meta was training its AI with 81.7TB of data, including pirated content .'

Regarding concerns about the illegality of the service, such as 'Is this illegal content sharing?', Yoav explained , 'I am aware of the legal risks, and I ask that those who might get into trouble refrain from using it.'
