Pepper+ is a humanoid robot developed with the aim of being used in a wide range of fields, including tourism, medical care, and nursing care.

Its head is equipped with a head touch sensor, microphone, 2D camera, and 3D sensor, as well as a gyro sensor, hand touch sensors, infrared sensor, laser sensor, sonar sensor, and bumper sensor.

The tablet has also been upgraded to a new model and is equipped with an AI agent. One example of AI-based functionality is the pre-released 'AI Customer Service Agent,' which uses a camera to recognize people and suggest products based on their clothing and conversation. The AI Customer Service Agent has successfully replicated the communication techniques of a professional sales demonstration using AI.

Other robot apps being developed include an 'Office Access Control Solution' that combines facial recognition and smart keys, 'Pepper Game Center' that provides an interactive quiz experience, 'Your Story as a Musical' that performs songs and dances based on the content of a conversation, and 'Impromptu Photographer' that combines backgrounds and dialogue to generate poster images.

The rental fee is 79,800 yen per month for the annual AI utilization plan and 150,000 yen for the one-month short-term use plan.

In conjunction with the unveiling of Pepper+, it was also announced that the original Pepper, which was created in 2014, had been recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's first mass-produced humanoid robot.
