ChatGPT , a pioneer of chat AI based on generative AI models, the internet has become flooded with low-quality, unreliable information generated by generative AI. A new browser extension, Slop Evader , has been released that prevents generative AI content from appearing by limiting search results to those before ChatGPT.

'Slop Evader' is available for both Chrome and Firefox . This time, I will install it on Chrome.

On the extension distribution page, click 'Add to Chrome.'

Click 'Add extension' in the next popup to complete the process.

Now, when you do a Google search, only content published before ChatGPT's official release date of November 30, 2022 will be displayed in the results.

Slop Evader hopes that by limiting search results to those published before ChatGPT, a pioneering generative AI, it will increase the proportion of human-created content displayed.

Clicking on 'Slop Evader' from the Chrome extension bar gives you the option to only view results from services like Reddit, Stack Exchange, Pinterest, and YouTube.

I tried entering the text into Reddit search and started the search.

The results are as follows: By adding the operator 'site:reddit.com', the search was narrowed to just reddit.com.
