A new Chrome extension called 'Fortune-telling-instead-of-AI-explanation' has been released, which turns the 'AI summary' displayed at the top of Google search results into a harmless fortune-telling slip. It responds to requests that 'fortune-telling is better than bullshit.'

When searching on Google, ' AI summaries ' appear in the search results. These AI summaries often produce incomprehensible answers, so much so that there are even X accounts dedicated to collecting these incomprehensible summaries . For those who don't need these AI summaries, a Chrome extension called ' Fortune-telling-instead-of-AI-explanation ' has been released, which turns the AI summaries into fortune-telling.

First, access the GitHub repository for “Fortune-telling-instead-of-AI-explanation” below.

Click 'Download ZIP' under 'Code'.

Extract the downloaded ZIP file using a program such as Explzh .

In Chrome, open ' chrome://extensions/ ' and enable Developer Mode in the top right corner of the screen.

Once you enable developer mode, a button labeled 'Load unpackaged extension' will appear in the upper left corner of the screen; click it.

Select the 'Fortune-telling-instead-of-AI-explanation' folder that you downloaded and unzipped from GitHub and click 'Select Folder'.

This will add the 'Fortune Google Modification Extension' to your Chrome extensions page.

Now, the 'AI summary' in Google Search should be a fortune-telling result, so I'll try searching randomly on Google right away.
