Miyazono Kanon, who has a constitution that makes it difficult for her to make friends, suddenly meets a girl named Miyazono Rion one day, who confesses her love to her: 'Marry me and become an android just like me!'
Although they initially strongly opposed each other, the two grew closer as they learned more about each other's secrets, but fate would have it that they were separated. Kanon, who had always regretted not accepting Rinne's confession, must make a decision for the future in order to wait for her return...

◆ Synopsis of the final episode of 'Secret Palace'
Miyazono Kanon, a girl living a lonely life, is suddenly confronted by Miyazono Rion, a girl with the same last name. As soon as they meet, Rion makes a shocking confession to Kanon: 'I want to marry you,' and 'Eventually, I'll transfer my entire personality to an AI and become an android just like me!'
Kanon strongly opposes Rinne, who suddenly appears and forcibly disrupts her daily life.
However, when Rinne stops moving, Kanon begins to learn a secret about her. Rinne appears to be a human girl, but she is indeed an android with a machine body, but she also has a heart of her own.
Rinne wakes up again when Kanon calls out to her, and they return to their daily lives. Although Kanon is unable to respond to Rinne's overly straightforward love, she understands Rinne's heart, and the two become much closer.
However, her peaceful time only lasts for a short time, and Rinne must once again depart for space to fulfill her mission as an android. In the past, Rinne left Earth for a mission and lost her beloved during that time. The same fate will befall her once again.
When they first met, Kanon confessed to Rinne that 'I want to transfer all of my personality into an AI and become an android just like me!', which Kanon had dismissed as 'impossible.' However, if they were to part ways now, she thought it would be better to stay together forever. Kanon had told Rinne of her determination to 'become an AI,' but what Rinne wanted most was for Kanon to continue living as she was. And so the time for them to part ways came.
Several years have passed since then, and Kanon has always had regrets. It was only four days from when she met Rinne to when they fought and when they first touched each other. Those four days are ones she can't get out of her head.
Time passes, and Rinne successfully completes her space mission. She returns to Earth over time so that she can be with Kanon once more.
Meanwhile, Kanon, who is waiting for the day she can be reunited with Rinne on Earth, is also making some preparations. What path has Kanon, who continues to regret the choice she made five years ago, chosen once again?
