``THE IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors'' is an anime based on the game of the same name that has been in development since 2018. Advance theatrical screenings will be held in three chapters from October 2023 to January 2024, and TV broadcasting will begin in April 2024.

As of March 2024, 8 idol groups and 28 idol groups will appear in the game, but 4 groups will appear in the anime: ``Illumination Stars,'' ``Antica,'' ``Houkago Climax Girls,'' and ``Alstroemeria.'' It has been announced that ``THE IDOLM@STER Shiny Colors 2nd season'' featuring ``Straylight'' and ``Noctile'' will be broadcast from fall 2024.

Like its predecessor, this work will have 12 episodes divided into three chapters and will be screened in theaters in advance.
