Shun Tokinoya is a second year high school student who lives with his mother and younger sister.

The head of the research institute, Ichiro Umureki, also known as ``Devil-kun,'' is a genius boy who happens once every 10,000 years.
But he doesn't know his real family.
This is a mysterious detective buddy story in which such a devil-kun, along with his partner Mephisto III, pursues the mystery of his origins while taking on mysterious cases.

A completely new animation of ``Akuma-kun'', one of Shigeru Mizuki's masterpieces, which was made into anime in 1966 and 1989. To coincide with the new release on Netflix, the 1989 anime will be available one episode at a time on YouTube and the Toei Animation Museum Channel every Friday starting September 1st (release period is 2 weeks).
