Coperni has become synonymous with pushing the boundaries of fashion through scientific innovation; in fact, the brand's name, Coperni, is named after the Renaissance astronomer Copernicus.
According to ELLE, the spray dress was developed in collaboration with Spanish fashion designer and scientist Manel Torres and London's Bioscience Innovation Center. The dress is constructed by spraying a mixture of fibers suspended in a polymer solution called ``fabrican liquid.'' When the solution comes in contact with the body, it quickly evaporates due to body heat, turning it from a liquid to a solid. It seems to change. It seems that this fabrican liquid can be reused by converting it from solid to liquid.
