The membership gift function is a function that allows users who have already subscribed to a membership to a specific YouTube channel to gift a ``one-month membership right'' to other users who have not yet subscribed to the membership. Twitch already has a similar feature called ' Subscription Gift, ' and YouTube has incorporated Twitch's feature into their platform.

To gift a membership to someone else, purchase a membership gift during a live stream or premiere on a channel that has the membership gift feature enabled. You can choose from 5, 10, or 20 gifts, and once the purchase is complete, gifts will be randomly distributed to non-membership members who are watching the same broadcast.
