Fierce experiences such as `` Forced entry into school after being restrained in the middle of the night '' and `` Prohibition of contact with others '' at the most fearful rehabilitation facility `` Élan School '' are being released
There are institutions all over the world that aim to correct children who cause problem behavior, but there are cases where corporal punishment problems involving fatal accidents come to light, such as
Elan School

Élan School was founded in 1970 as a co-educational boarding school that featured remedial instruction for children with behavioral problems. However, it was closed in 2011 after the testimony of Élan School graduates revealed that corporal punishment had become the norm. Mr. Joe was a person who entered this Élan School and has published his own experience to leave the actual situation of Élan School to posterity.
◆ Compulsory enrollment in Élan School
Mr. Joe's story is insane upon entering the Élan School. When Mr. Joe, who was 16 years old at the time, was sleeping, two men invaded the room around 2 o'clock in the middle of the night and restrained Mr. Joe. I was brought into the car without saying yes or no.
The car continued on the highway and Joe was taken thousands of kilometers from Joe's home in Missouri to Élan School in Maine.
Mr. Joe, who was suddenly detained and brought to Élan School, could not accept the situation and escaped into the forest.
However, Élan School officials are waiting in the forest, and Mr. Joe fails to escape. I decided to enter Élan School as it was.
◆Elan School rules
At Élan School, the individuality of the children who belonged was thoroughly eliminated. For example, the clothes and belongings that Joe was wearing when he entered the school were confiscated and he was given a yellow shirt and pink shorts. Joe said that this outfit had the effect of 'preventing escape with conspicuous colors' and 'eliminating space to hide weapons'.
Punishments were also given at the Élan School that made rebellion impossible. For example, Mr. Joe, who tried to escape, was given a punishment of 'spending a month with unlaced shoes.'
Shortly after joining Élan School, Joe was instructed to always accompany the other students who acted as the 'older brother'. However, physical contact with each other was strictly prohibited, and he could not even shake hands with greetings. From this brother role, Mr. Joe is divided into two classes, ``STRENGTH (strong)'' and ``NON-STRENGTH (not strong)'', ``STRENGTH each other'', ``STRENGTH and NON-STRENGTH ”, but I was taught the rule that not only conversation but also eye contact is prohibited in “NON-STRENGTH”. Other behaviors such as ``speaking loudly'', ``speaking in a broken tone'', ``looking out the window'', ``listening to music that is not permitted'', and ``showing for more than 3 minutes'' are considered offenses. I was also taught that the offenders would be severely punished.
After that, Mr. Joe was told that he had to be called by the instructors and spend 30 to 40 months at Élan School.
