One thing that is often overlooked when creating is 'what the reader thinks and how they feel'. It is quite important, but also quite difficult, whether the content is transmitted even if the person with zero prerequisite information is read, and whether the author's intention can be drawn without distortion.
For example, in the initial plan for episode 3 of 'Mr. Asahina', only the part 'there is no slippers in the shoe box' was depicted as shown in the two frames on the left of the image. If you are familiar with the work, you can easily understand that this is not a sad bullying but a pretending to be a gag, but since the basic reader is not so, as shown in the two frames on the right, 'Anyone can see the gag. It was changed to 'pretending to understand'. In this way, it is important to stop and think about 'how do readers feel?'
As a further minor change, two points have been changed in the left two frames and the right two frames in the image below. First of all, in the first frame, the composition is made by pulling the camera so that the reader can see at a glance that it is a shoe box at the entrance of the school, which is clear to the drawing side. In the second frame, instead of hiding the shoes, Yuhi's favorite cake was placed, and a transparent case was prepared to alleviate the feeling that 'Is food unsanitary in the shoe box?' rice field. After all, both are changes that go beyond the author's intention and take into consideration the part of 'how the reader feels'.
Following the above changes, the axis of development of episode 3 has changed significantly. From the second page onward, the reader will read on with the content presented on the first page, so it seems that you should be very careful about 'what kind of information will be shown on the first page'.
