How old can humans live?

There are many studies on the limit of human lifespan, such as

research that limits human lifespan to 115 years old and research that humans age more slowly than 105 years old. A new research team from biotechnology company Gero reports that 'human life is limited to 120-150 years'.

The research team collects step count data and blood test results for healthy people aged 20 to 80 from user data on wearable devices and statistics provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to recover from stress such as falls. I investigated the relationship between power and age.

The figure below is a graph showing the period from stress to recovery of blood condition, the vertical axis shows the blood condition (closer to 0, the closer to normal), and the horizontal axis shows the period. is showing. If you look at the graph, you can see that the older you are, the longer it takes to recover.

Next, if you look at the graph showing the period from stress to normal recovery of steps, you can see that the older you are, the longer it takes to recover, similar to the blood condition.

Based on the above results, the research team created a graph showing the relationship between stress resilience and age. In the graph below, the vertical axis shows resilience (the higher you go, the higher the resilience), the horizontal axis shows age, and the solid line colors show different statistical information. From this graph, the research team concludes that 'human resilience is lost between the ages of 120 and 150, which indicates the limit of lifespan.'

Gero CEO Peter Fedicev said, 'It is impossible to completely prevent aging and extend life expectancy. We are researching ways to extend healthy life expectancy as much as possible rather than intervening in the laws of nature. It is more important to extend the life expectancy than to extend life expectancy.
