Fire Has Destroyed One of OVH's Strasbourg Data Centers (SBG2)

According to an OVHcloud report, a fire broke out in a room of OVHcloud's data center SBG2 along the Rhine at 0:47 on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 local time.
The fire department rushed in after receiving the report, but at that time the whole thing was already on fire. Forty-four vehicles and 115 firefighters were mobilized and the fire was extinguished around 5:30 am.
In addition to SBG2, the fire damaged four of the twelve rooms in the adjacent SBG1. All three OVHcloud employees at the scene have been successfully rescued.

It seems that water is being discharged to the data center where the fire has been extinguished.

After the fire is extinguished, the data center remains in shape, but you can see that the outer walls are melting here and there.

Since many precision instruments such as servers are installed in the data center, fire extinguishing equipment using inert gas may be installed, but in the case of SB2, it seems that it was a watering system.

This fire has affected many areas. The survival game 'Rust' reports that some data suffered irreparable loss due to the EU server being in the data center.

25 of our EU servers remain offline due to a fire at OVH Datacenter in the early hours of this morning. Unfortunately, the fire destroyed SBG-2 building. We're expecting a large amount of data loss across the affected servers.

We've confirmed a total loss of the affected EU servers during the OVH data center fire. We're now exploring replacing the affected servers.
Data will be unable to be restored.
For clarity: When we referred to 'data' in prior Tweets today the data lost in question was only player progression on 25 servers.
