McDonald's 'Kokumi Beef Stew Gracolo' Tasting Review with Beef Stew with Beef in Gracolo



' Kokumi Beef Stew Gracolo ' was released on December 2, 2020 (Wednesday) as a new flavor of McDonald's winter classic menu 'Gracolo'. It is a new recipe with crispy outside and gratin croquette with shrimp inside, topped with beef stew sauce and mustard finished with red wine-based demiglace sauce. At the end of 2020, I actually tried it to taste the new Gracolo.

I bought a rich beef stew gracolo (390 yen including tax). The wrapping paper has a brown-based design reminiscent of beef stew.



In normal gratin, croquette sauce is hung on the gratin croquette, but in rich beef stew croquette, reddish brown beef stew sauce is hung. Egg sauce is entwined in the shredded cabbage.

If you remove the upper buns and look at the sauce, you can see the beef ribs in it.

When I tried it, the flavor of demiglace with beef stew sauce on top was stronger than the creamy flavor of gratin croquette, and the impression was quite salty. The beef that was loosely packed was soft and did not interfere with the texture. The editorial staff, who loves gratin, said, 'I like the mellow and creamy taste of gratin croquette, but the beef stew sauce wins, so I don't feel like I ate gratin.' On the other hand, the editorial staff who have never eaten regular Gracolo and the editorial staff who are not very good at Gracolo said, 'The flavor of beef stew is rich, and it is luxurious and satisfying as a new McDonald's product.
