The top model of the 5G-compatible 'iPhone 12' series, the ' iPhone 12 Pro Max, ' was released on November 13, 2020 (Friday). I took a picture of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, which has the largest 6.7-inch display in iPhone history and the highest performance sensor in iPhone history, comparing it with the '

iPhone 12 Pro ' that appeared on October 23.

This is the outer box of the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

When you open the case, it looks like this. Of the four main body colors, silver, graphite, gold, and Pacific blue, we chose Pacific Blue this time.

The contents are a case containing an Apple logo sticker, a device for opening the SIM card slot, a user guide, and a USB-C compatible Lightning cable for charging. Like the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro, it doesn't come with a power adapter.

This is the main body of iPhone 12 Pro Max. The size is 160.8 mm in length × 78.1 mm in width × 7.4 mm in thickness, and weighs 226 g.

The top surface looks like this. The frame has an edgy design similar to the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

There was a Lightning connector on the bottom, a built-in microphone & a built-in stereo speaker.

On the left side, SIM card slot, volume control button, sound on / off button are arranged from the left.

Only the side buttons are on the right side.

There is an Apple logo on the back and a triple camera.

Comparing the cameras of iPhone 12 Pro Max (left) and iPhone 12 Pro (right), it looks like this. It doesn't look much different, but the iPhone 12 Pro Max's wide-angle camera has an image sensor that's 47% larger than the iPhone 12 Pro.

If you put the iPhone 12 Pro Max (left) and iPhone 12 Pro (right) side by side, you can see that the basic design has been followed and is one size larger. The main body size of iPhone 12 Pro is 146.7 mm in length × 71.5 mm in width × 7.4 mm in thickness, and weighs 187 g.

The display of the iPhone 12 Pro Max is a 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display with a resolution of 2778 x 1284 pixels and a pixel density of 458 ppi.

This display is the largest in iPhone history, and you can feel its size again when you hold it in your hand.

The display resolution of the iPhone 12 Pro (right) is 2532 x 1170 pixels and the pixel density is 460 ppi, so the iPhone 12 Pro Max (left) has a slightly lower pixel density ...

At the level confirmed with the naked eye, it feels within the margin of error.

When you put the iPhone 12 Pro on top of the iPhone 12 Pro Max, the vertical length is so different.

In addition, comparing the top surface of iPhone 12 Pro Max (bottom) and iPhone 12 Pro (top), it looks like this.

Looking at the iPhone 12 Pro Max (bottom) and iPhone 12 Pro (top) from the left side, it looks like this. It has a SIM card slot, a volume control button, and a sound on / off button in common, but the iPhone 12 Pro's SIM card slot is at the bottom of the console, while the iPhone 12 Pro Max's is in the middle. You can also see the difference.

There is no big difference on the right side.

As the body size increased, the iPhone 12 Pro Max's microphone and speaker holes increased by one from the iPhone 12 Pro.

The iPhone 12 Pro Max is 117,800 yen excluding tax for the 128GB model, 128,800 yen including tax for the 256GB model, and 150,800 yen including tax for the 512GB model.
