YouTuber, who has been cutting into the aspirations of children, is a major source of revenue from videos uploaded to YouTube. However, YouTube sometimes hides or monetizes videos for reasons that the uploader is not familiar with. About this, the YouTubers union 'fighting for the rights of creators and users' has been launched, and a campaign called ' FairTube ' has been launched.

What FairTube is looking for on YouTube is the following six points.

・ Publication of categories and criteria that affect video viewing and monetization
・ When making a video a non-disclosure procedure, an explanation of which part violated what criteria of the content
· Contact information for persons qualified and empowered to explain if a decision is made that will result in a negative outcome for YouTuber
· Accepting an objection from YouTuber for a decision that produces negative results
· Establishment of a mediation committee for dispute resolution
・ Your participation in important decision making through 'YouTuber Advisory Committee' etc.

'We are not looking for anything that is unprofitable or unrealistic (youtube), but for fairness and transparency. We want them to be treated as partners, and we need more direct communication, not anonymous communication. '

In an effort to carry out the 'FairTube' campaign, Sprague and others formed a cooperative relationship with IG Metal (metal industry trade union) in Germany, the world's largest labor union, and released a video message addressed to YouTube.

In the video message, Mr. Sprayv is saying 'YouTuber is like a dream job because the video is hidden or deleted according to the criteria that I do not know how much I try to upload the video. 'It's actually a nightmare.' The move to improve this is 'FairTube'.

YouTubers Union and IG Metall are asking 'FairTube' to respond to YouTube by August 23, but so far there has been no movement on YouTube and Motherboard has not received any comments from YouTube .

By the way, Mr. Spreve is the operator of 'The Slingshot Channel', a channel that actually created the giant pachinko 'Kabuto' appearing in 'One Piece' and 'Santa Slayer' that prevents Santa from entering his home.

It is said that the trend of TikTok also influences the background of such movement. There is no doubt that YouTube is the world's largest video platform, but depending on the movement, it may be possible for the creators to leak to other platforms.
