According to KTLA, which deals with regional news centered on Los Angeles, the Apple Watch was lost by surfer Robert Beinter. Mr. Veinter had always used the Apple Watch at Huntington Beach, which is known as a surfing spot, to measure the speed.

The news footage also shows what Mr. Veinter actually made with Apple Watch.

Half a year ago, Mr. Veinter, who used to surf with the Apple Watch as usual, noticed that after the wave, the Apple Watch was gone. After searching for about an hour on site, Mr. Veinter turned on the 'lost mode' on the Apple Watch in the ' Find iPhone ' app. In the lost mode, the terminal is locked and can not be operated, and the lock screen can display messages and contacts for those who picked up.

Mr. Veinter then searched for the Apple Watch every time he visited the beach for half a year, but could not find it at all. However, a man named 'I was looking for seashells on the beach' discovered Apple Watch and watched the lost mode screen and contacted Mr. Veinter. Alright, Apple Watch came back to Mr. Veinter. It is said that this man found the Apple Watch three miles (about 4.8 km) north of where Mr. Veinter lost.

Mr. Veinter, who had already bought a new Apple Watch, was surprised that the returned Apple Watch was still working without problems, although the display was somewhat hazy.
