People who believe that CG images of robots walking through the streets are too real and real

by Robert Sullivan

A movie of a robot walking relaxedly on the road to Twitter has been posted and collected more than 30,000 retweets and over 80,000 nobles. People were surprised that "Robots have evolved so far" to a smooth movement, but in reality it turned out that this movie is a synthesized video produced using Unity , a game and animation engine.

In the movie, a two-tone color body of red and black, walking with a biped walking robot with an eerie look like Noh mask. It is not an awkward movement such as a robot anyhow, it moves smoothly enough to think that a real human being is walking.

Actually, the robot walking on this road is not real, it is a CG model that appears in the short animation called "ADAM" which the Swedish team of Unity created as a demo of the real-time rendering function. The CG model of this robot is released for free . Unity's published "ADAM" can be seen in the following movie.

And the movie that was talked about on Twitter was created by Maxim Sullivan , the British image creator. In order to test the lighting of the high dynamic range image, Mr. Sullivan seems to have produced this movie by synthesizing the CG model of the robot with the background image recorded by the mobile phone.

However, somehow Mr. Sullivan produced a test movie spreading on the net, it seems that the robot's rebellion day is near, it got annoyed. Mr. Sullivan announces his work, but seems to be a little interesting in the situation where my movie is confused with reality.

Mr. Neil Bromcamp, who is known for the director of the movie " 9th district ", is trying to supervise " ADAM: The Mirror " and " ADAM: Episode 3 " which will be the sequel to the short animation "ADAM" that this robot appears It became a topic.
