Chiang Mai's Wallopolitan Market Night in the Atmosphere That Like the Summer Festival in Japan

Light bulb lights warmly light up a dark night. Sound made as crackle where fried food heard from a big pot can be played. A pottery smoke that is put on the net and is cooked with charcoal fire. Every day was like a summer festival.

Hello,Takuya Sudo @ circle around the world bicycle @ Charridermanis. When going to Thail you can eat delicious dishes cheaply, so it will almost eat out. This time I was addicted to the night market stalls.

◆ Wallorot Market
Visiting Thailand has become the fourth time for the third consecutive year. This year not only in Bangkok but also in the northChiang MaiI also went to. Located in the mountains basin, Chiang Mai has a lower humidity and a somewhat easier climate than Bangkok, the capital close to the sea. It was a town with a history where the old town surrounded by moats is left in all directions.

I have lived in Chiang Mai for about a month since mid June. Cheap accommodation in the second half of stay is 5 minutes on foot to Wallorit Market. I got my legs stretched almost every day at night. In the daytime I frown in the strong sunshine, but in the evening the air is cool as well, and the people who walk are also walking with a somewhat affordable expression.

Wallorot market here.

Local people such as a small boychan, a family daughter of a young lady, a couple walking hand in hand. There were days when crowded so that the shoulder and shoulders would touch when walking on the aisle. The appearance of working women is prominent in stalls and stalls. I love warm climates and Thai aunts will smile a soft smile. There were people who brought in small children and they were going out while shopping. The figure of the child who is clambing the smartphone with a small hand and is crazy about the movie is also.

A stall vending on a large parasol hanging light bulbs.

Stalls / stalls were lined up using half of the road.

Food, fruit, miscellaneous goods, clothing and everything is sold.

Piggy bank lined up tightly.

There are cats, but not for sale.

There are stalls which arrange clothes such as trousers, shirts, underwear. Thailand's comprehensive supermarket also deals with clothes, but these stalls' clothes are cheaper.

Doraemon pajamas who will naturally smile.

T - shirts were sold at a price of 100 Baht (about 300 yen). There are also Thai-like elephant T-shirts so how about souvenirs?

thisWallorot MarketBut, to tell the truth, daytime is main. At night and night the atmosphere changes. It is also recommended to have a walarot market at noon that shows a hot crowd as Chiang Mai's largest market. There are plenty of shops to walk tired.

Night stalls that open in the aisle of the building with the market.

◆ dinner
Every day in Chiang Mai the secret lunch was secured in this market and it was eaten in the hotel room. Thai cuisine that is addicted to the taste of sweetness, hotness and sourness. At the stalls of the wallopolitic market I was eating such things.

Food stalls where fried foods such as fried chicken and fried shrimp fried food are lined up. I cook it at the back of the store using a gas can and a large pan like a barrel.

There were stalls selling pork cutlets.

Surface of crisp crust, fat dripping from the top of the net, Thai sausage that you get caught up when the small stomach is empty.

The dish called kao kamu cooked pork and pig legs till the toro is standard in Thailand. Skin or gelatinous lumps are so soft that they melt when placed in their mouths. Sweet little broiled soup packed with sweet taste is also excellent with rice. It was a cuisine that I wanted to drink like rice bowls in Japan.

If eyes match ever-delicious fish, I will stop my feet unintentionally. I will swallow gokuri and spit.

White fish that was hokuhoku made use of the material, it was seasoned seasoning. Thanks to shredded ginger, it did not smell fish. A little dish to make 100 baht (about 300 yen).

Steamed dish wrapped in banana leaves.

There was something like hamburger in the leaves that I heard as chicken. Healthy hamburgers not greasy.

Odori, a stall that clearly showed embarrassment, "Oh, did you come again?" This stall where shells, pigs and squid line up is my favorite.

Boiled squid, which is similar to octopus wasabi, should be tied up with the green sauce in the bag. The pungent, sour and garlic combined sauce is exquisite. Freshly baked pasta disappears squid smell.

There was a mussel in spite of the inland. I was clenched with my hands as a guchogyeo.

Chiang Mai specialtyChao-sui (Thai-style curry noodles)There are also stalls. A curious soup with richness though it is curry. Mainly put egg noodles, fried noodles as toppings on soup. The bean sprouts on the table, the taka can be arranged freely by customers.

This isPad thaiThai style fried noodles called. The flat noodles with a festive eating were firmly entwined with a sweet sauce.

A large steam basket that contained meat or dumplings. When the owner of the stall opens the lid, steaming steaming around the area spreads.

The young lady wrapped in an Islamic style scarf was doing the raw spring rolls only rare stalls that have only been seen. I could choose contents from crab, tofu, chicken. Because I could not narrow down to one, I bought a mix with three ingredients.

A glossy glossy skin is a rice cake. Lettuce which was refreshing is healthy. Directing a refreshing feeling with a sour sauce. It was a refreshing dish for a hot country.

The stalls where side dishes were lined up.

What I thought was chicken was mushroom.

The somtum of the blue mango was soaked in juice and looked like pickles. Mango sweetness expands as much as you can biting. It's just awfully painful, so when I finish eating it runs with a runny nose.

Edamame beans were also on sale. It was no different taste from Japanese edamame.

Fried also here. The outside is calico and inside is a fluffy mini snack. I made fried sweet potato dough in a ball and fried.

◆ Dessert
A juice shop that was always crowded. We put fruits, honey, ice etc in the vessel and will show off your early work to your eyes until you put it on the mixer.

Fruit juice of dragon fruit which is similar to the taste of kiwi. The price of 25 baht (about 70 yen) is now cheap.

Ice cream of 1 piece 10 baht (about 30 yen) was a Japanese taste like Azuki bar. There are various flavors. In the freezer there are rectangular parallelepipeds like sheepskin, take out, put a cup, stab a bamboo skewer and peel off the wrapping paper, it turns into easy-to-eat bar ice.

Thai style sweets of 1 5 Baht ~ (about 15 yen).

Several fruit shops are lining up. Durian, Mangosteen, Rambutan and most of the world's fruits were in Thailand try trying rare fruits as well.

In Japan it is easy to get rare lychee.

Such a nightly wolaroot marketNight Bazaar in Chiang MaiI thought, but two are different things. I visited the night bazaar once, but over there it is for foreign tourists. In the outdoor food court, I was doing live performances of the band, so for me the worolot market, which is not noisy, fits the skin.

Thanks to such a wollow lot market, every night in Chiang Mai night was like a summer festival.
