I chose the place of stay in Iriin district of Nishinari. It was a place like heaven from a person who was immersed in the journey for a long time.

◆ Places where cheap guests gather
Even when I temporarily return home in 2012I made an article about the Ein Rin areaHowever, there was a short stay, and there were districts not covered. Even in the area where cheap accommodations are lined up, the air is different from others in the vicinity of "Airein Labor Welfare Center".

From the elevated Hanshin Highway No. 14 Matsubara Line "Tennoji Exit" "Abeno Entrance" to the east of the Nankai Main Line "Shin-Imamiya Station" to the west, crowded in the southern part of the trunk line penetrating east-west along JR's Kansai main line doing. The hotel facing the trunk line is around 2000 yen per night. The eastern side of the railway crossing of the Hankai train is the area where foreign backpackers gather, and stayed here in 2012. I think that the western side of the railroad crossing is old-fashioned Airin district.

◆ Room where we stayed
Unlike last time, this time I stayed in a certain area of ​​"Airein Labor Welfare Center". It is close to the heart of the Ain Lin district.

This time we stayed at the cheapest price of 1,500 yen per night. It will be +100 yen on the weekend, but if it is long-term consecutive nights, discounts are paid, on average it will be about 1300 yen per night. When staying in Okinawa it was a standard of 40,000 yen in 30 days. On my stay, quite comfortable Wi-Fi was flying. By the way, it seems that ladies' accommodation is not accepted. I arrived there for 2 days in a cheap 1000 yen per night, but I decided to move because I needed an internet environment.

Here is the room that I stayed this time. If you put a futon, you will not be able to move, but I do not feel cramped because I am folding during the day.

Because it was a nice climate, we did not mind too much, but there was air conditioning in the room. It seems to be useful during summer's hot season, but it seems that the operating time is determined by control operation. I am wondering how it works.

There was a microwave oven and hot-water pot on the 1st and 5th floor.


You can use the public bath from 17 o'clock to 23 o'clock in the bath. It was like a public bath. There are three seats for the shower to wash the body. Although the shower did not fill up, there are three other seats and you can wash your body with a faucet and washbowl with hot water. The bathtub is also big, so you can relax and stretch your arms and legs greatly. A bathtub as wide as four people do the same but do not bump. There was a shower time in the morning, but I did not use it because it seems that only one can be used.

Also, there is a coin-operated washing machine and a dryer on the 5th floor. The washing machine was 200 yen per time, the dryer was 100 yen in 10 minutes.

The price of 1,300 yen per night is calculated as US $ 11.8 if 1 US dollar is 110 yen and 10.4 euros if 1 Euro is 125 yen. In both the US and Europe, in countries with economic standards close to Japan, you can not find the same facilities cheap at the same price. Even the dormitory (the opposite room) is impossible. That is why it was a dreamlike place for me who had a sense of travelers. I was just writing a manuscript.

However, in front of the convenience store, people who are drunk are sitting down, some people walking around with eyes that are out of focus, and a little care about security. The area where "Airein Labor Welfare Center" is located is not an atmosphere where a woman without land intuition can feel free to step on foot. I am walking men. There was no child figure either.

◆ Walking around the city
About 2 weeks I stayed in the Ein Rin area this time, so there were various discoveries.

It is Japan's daily life that foreigners feel strange as "there is no garbage bin in the town", but in the Airen area there is a trash can in the sidewalk of the sidewalk.

Cats also inhabited the Eirin district. In the middle of the night I was sneaking in between cats, sometimes I heard a low groaning voice.

◆ Vending machine
It is a cheap vending machine that will be talking about something in the Airen area. If it is an independent vending machine, not a manufacturer such as Coca-Cola or Suntory, a can of 50 yen was a standard. It is a fierce battle zone where vending machines are installed as much as you can say before the building or the corner of the road.

Although it was sold out, I do not mind "can enjoy" which does not know what comes out.

There are also unusual vending machines that 1L type paper packs are on sale.

◆ As a base for sightseeing
Eirin district is also convenient for sightseeing, within walking distance of the new world with "Tsutenkaku" and the Tennoji with "Abe no Harukas". "Zoosakae station" is the subway, "Shin-Imamiya station" is the nearest station to JR. You can easily get to Osaka's downtown area such as Umeda and Nanba from the Airen area by train. From my local Fukuoka, the train fare in Osaka was cheap, so it was easy to move.

Tsutenkaku is also a symbol of the New World District.

◆ Japan's disparity
I walked a number of times from Ichirin district to Tennoji with Abeno Harkus. It is a place where the disparity of Japan clearly appears, so it makes me think variously.

There was nothing useless in the area where condominiums near Tennoji lined up, it was a refreshing city.


Meanwhile, the apartment group in the Airin district is a town that was quite cluttered with parking bicycles on electric wires.
