This is 7 ft long (about 213.4 cm) RX - 178Gundam Mk-II. It's power and faithfulness that can not be thought of as paper.

Taras Lesko who is the author and side by side like this.

Behind the scenes.

In making a giant Gundam, Mr. Lesko first started making parts from the head. It seems that gradually it started working on the part under the body.

Jet pack is also this street.

The body part.

In order to allow the Gundam to be self-sustaining, the skeleton was first assembled, and the parts were mounted on it.

A state where the feet are assembled.

The leg was created by layering several parts like a layer.

There is no arm. By not attaching the arm, it was possible to adjust the skeleton till the end.

It seems that Lesko is very seriously working on the project, "When the younger brother appears, the place is humorous and work goes fast".

This is Lesko's wife who participated in the creation of a paper craft.

By saying "Protecting God", the figure of the cross on the body.

Compared with children you can understand its overwhelming huge.

You can see from the following movie that you are actually assembling a paper craft Gundam from morning till evening.

First of all, we will create a model of Gundam Mk - II which is commercially available for comparison.

Remove part from frame ......

Assemble each part.

Completion is done when the lower body and the upper body are finally attached.

And the future is real. I will make a Gundam of about 213 cm in total length.

First, each part cuts the part from the printed paper.

Put the folds and glue with adhesive.

The back of the head is also created following the forehead. The number of used paper and the number of parts made are displayed in the lower left of the movie. Currently 20 papers are used, and the number of parts is 35.

Print out a new paper craft every time we make parts.

Also equipped with a blade antenna.

A plastic model assembled earlier is sitting next to the gigantic head where reality came out.

Faster printout.

Next seems to be making the upper body.

Create a jet pack.

You can see that the creation days have passed since Lesko's wearing shirt changes.

The shape gradually became visible.

Gundam watching print out further.

It seems that exhaustion began to appear.

Work started in the morning ... ...

Even after the sunset, I made a paper craft.

I am continuing to create skeletons even in the middle of the night.

My wife seems to be helping.

A gundam hanging from a printer and a printer. The number of paper used so far is 284, and the number of parts made is 493.

Further creation of feet.

Lesko's brother Ivan appeared.

I will install the parts on the skeleton.

First of all cover the framework with dark blue paper.

Ivan to create a part to be attached further on the foot.

Make one leg at midnight.

By the time both feet were completed, it was the morning of what day from the creation. The number of paper used at this time is 581, the number of parts made is 1010.

Just like the plastic model, we will start work to join the upper body and lower body made separately.

Attaching the head ...

Adjust the skeleton from the base of the arm.

Somehow there is a near future atmosphere.

Finally put the shoulder ......

Completing it if you install a jet pack.

You can see the backstage behind the creation from the following.

In addition, Mr. Lesko has made 4-foot (about 120 cm) of Gundam in the past.

The 4-foot Gundam was burned last, and at this time Lesko decided to make even larger paper craft.
