Hole empty on Earth at Arches National Park where time eroded the ground

Although I am delicate, I am really trying hard and fighting with gravity. Still there are some archs that collapse without enemy in the time that passes. Located in the southern part of Utah in the USAArches National ParkThere are numerous archs created by weathering the earth by rain breeze. The national park is a vast museum, and many archs were natural art works. Especially the famous "delicate arch" is also drawn on the license plate of the car and is a symbol of the state of Utah.

Hello,Takuya Sudo @ circle around the world bicycle @ Charridermanis. I cycled around Arches National Park and wandered around trekking. Because I can not see easily, there is a scenery that I only know when I arrive.

Arches National Park is here.

Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National ParkFrom the provincial road No. 12 go east to east. This southern part of Utah is a sparse area of population, even even the Americans answer "There is a small gas station," because it is an end to ask "Where is the city center of the city?" I think that the provincial road "I went down to the valley bottom" and it went on, "I came well, the next is a mountain beyond 2,900 meters," the path of training.

Clearly cut through the center of the mountain road

To the valley bottom

Beyond the escalante river (Escarante River). After this I went up for a while.

I went up slightly from the bottom of the valley above. The river is making a valley.

Go up further and ... ...

It should be a row of bicycles, but as if climbing a mountain.

The 9600 ft is 2926 m in terms of meters, it will be the highest point since coming to the Americas.

After crossing the pass, it is a dry landscape.

Is the earth round?

Going a little from the position of the above photo, the view which can be seen also advances a little.

Pass through Capitol Reef National Park

The appearance of plants has decreased

Rocky mountain

From the brown to the gray world.

It is collapsing in an odd form

Run through the wilderness.

The cattle feces around here are dry and beautiful. I understand that it becomes fuel in some areas

The La Salle Mountains visible from Arches National Park

We crossed the southern part of Utah from Zion National Park at the western end of Utah to Arches National Park east of the Utah. There is a gate and visitor center in Arches National Park 8 km north of "Moab" which is the base point of sightseeing. From there to the campground we have to run a lot of ups and downs about 28 km. Walking along the "Devils Garden" trail behind this camping ground, you can see various shapes of arches. Also, as I walked the trail from the parking lot 2 km from the main road, "Delicate Arch" was quietly standing.

Enter the Arches National Park.

"Window Section (Windows Section)" that was running out of time and could not run

"Balanced rock" that seems to fall and does not fall off

◆ Devils Garden (Devils Garden)

"Pine Tree Arch" to be found immediately after walking out

"Tunnel Arch" near the pine tree arch

I will walk in such a scenery.

Overcome the rocky mountain.

A place without an arch is a plain

"Landscape arch" which is also the centerpiece of the park

With a very thin arch, the length in excess of 100 m is the largest in the park. There is a danger of collapse, so you can not go out of the arch directly.

Two small holes next to the landscape arch ......

This will become "Partition Arch" and peek from the back side.

A small hole looks something like this

"Navajo Arch" near the partition arches

The inside of the arch is a dead end. But it's just a nice space, perhaps it would be great to live if you were born in the age of hunting.

A flat rock lined up like Domino

I will walk this place

Be careful with your feet as it is a trail that is not serviced. Cologne (piled stone) is loaded in the trail so that you will not lose sight of it.

This arch ......

Two-story "Double O Arch"

It seems to be an aqueduct of ancient Rome

This is "Private Arch"

When you look at it a little, you can see the hole is empty in a thin rock.

I walked around 12 km around the Devils Garden trail one round. I change to a bicycle from here and aim for a delicate arches I feel like a triathlon player.

"Skyline Arch" near the campground is unusual and there are holes in high places

I peeked into "Sand Dune Arch" and headed to the delicate arch

◆ Delicate arch (Delicate Arch)

I walked a 1.6 km one-way trail from the parking lot

It looks like a musical stage

And we arrived "Delicate Arch"

This delicate arch is enormously huge. There are people under the rocky mountain on the left so please compare.

Rear view

Diagonally behind

Changing the angle little by little.

From the side. What are you thinking of delicately alone on the cliff?

The scenery the delicate arch looks at all the time alone

The hole eroded by the delicate arches. It will be a natural pool if it rains.

I have to go back to the parking lot as soon as I have finished sightseeing. You have to run a steep road to get back to the city.

It is still too late, full moon going up to Arches National Park.

◆ The process of becoming an arch

There are many rocks like flat boards that are about to empty

Like looking like a wall when you see it nearby.

Flat rocks all face the same direction

Flat rocks lined up beautifully

When flat rocks are subjected to erosion caused by rain breeze, holes are empty. Water freezing in the winter may be the reason for promoting erosion.

A rock in the middle of a hole

I could not introduce it here, but there are some famous arches in the area called "Windows Section". I have to take time because I must walk anywhere in Arches National Park. But its value was in full. From the arch that you can easily sit on and take a sightseeing tour by car, the arches that appear at last after walking walks will be more suitable for national parks.

From Arches National Park, you can finally south down in earnest. Speaking of America, I ran to the Grand Canyon that I should not forget.
