Art of obsession expressing the skyscraper just with the needle of a stapler "Ephemicropolis"

To create one art work there may be a huge amount of precise work, but this "Ephemicropolis" which reproduced a gigantic city by arranging the needles of the stapler alone is exactly one such work. It combines the needles of staples of various sizes to reproduce the chaoticity of the city.

Details are below.
Ephemicropolis 2010 | Peter Root

This work "Ephemicropolis" is an English artist, Mr. Peter Root, with 100,000 needles of stapler in 40 hours.

A delicate and large skyscraper is reproduced within a plane of about 6 m × 3 m.

It is overwhelmed by the high density.

And a far-near perspective.

Although it is an extremely small size, the mosaic by large and small combination brings out the atmosphere like a real city.

On the site of the work there is also a video of the production landscape that keeps stapling the huge amount of staples.

This is a somewhat small version "Low Rise" made in 2006. Still, I feel a considerable obsession.

Low-Rise 2006 | Peter Root

It is constructed on the mirror and makes it feel the depth.
