According to this article, Western Digital said it acquired SiliconSystems Inc. of SSD maker in California on March 30 th local time.

The purchase amount is 65 million dollars (about 6.3 billion yen), which means that Western Digital has accelerated its entry into the SSD market, including for low price mini-notebooks.
