Itoen "Whey Water Fermented in Kefir" Tasting Review



Goods called "Whey Water fermented in kefir" from Itoen is on sale, but I saw this at a convenience store and "KefirI was attracted to the word somewhat and bought it. I do not really know how it will change when kefir at once, but only the name has impact.

Kefir is a traditional food originating in the Caucasus region in the southwestern part of Russia. Health is attracting attention, and it has been commercialized with capsules etc.


As a classification it is a soft drink. Whey kefir fermentation liquor is contained.


The same Itoen mark as tea etc.


I poured it into a glass.


It was quite muddy white, there was a sweet smell and it looked like Calpis.


I felt like thinly diluting the stock solution of Calpis with water and making the balance of sweetness and sourness somewhat sour. However, when comparing it with Calpis, it is just sour taste, it seasons sweet as a whole. I do not quite understand which one is Kefir, but it is quite delicious.
