◆ Movie can be controlled in picture-in-picture
Picture-in-picture is a function that pops out the movie being played in Firefox and displays it in front of the screen so that you can watch the movie while doing other work.

From Firefox 113, controls are now displayed on the popped out screen, allowing you to play/stop, skip 5 seconds, and adjust the volume in the picture-in-picture state.

◆ Improved privacy of private windows
By blocking the storage of third-party cookies and content trackers, we can further protect your privacy.

◆ Stronger auto-generated passwords
Passwords automatically generated by Firefox now include special characters to improve password strength.

Redesigned accessibility engine for better performance
By reviewing the cache mechanism of the accessibility engine, the performance of functions that use accessibility APIs such as screen readers, Windows touch, character input unique to East Asia, such as kanji conversion, has been improved.

◆ Enhanced bookmark import function
Favicons are now imported at the same time when importing bookmarks from another browser such as Safari or Google Chrome.

◆ Animated AVIF image support
AVIF is a specification for an image format encoded with the AV1 codec . Firefox 113 has better support for AVIF itself, and now supports AVIF format images with animations.

◆ Security improvement of Windows GPU sandbox
The Windows GPU Sandbox feature introduced in Firefox 110 has been enhanced to improve security.

◆ You can drag and drop files directly from Microsoft Outlook
The feature requested in 2010 has finally been implemented.

◆ Overscroll effect is added in Firefox for Windows
When scrolling beyond the edge of the screen, an animation that is often used in smartphone UIs has been added to bounce back after scrolling to the position where the edge of the screen is exceeded.

◆ Support for new languages
Tajik language is now supported. Tajik is a language spoken mainly by Tajiks living in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and it is said that there are about 8.5 million speakers.

◆ Some interfaces are removed
Removed 'mozRTCPeerConnection', 'mozRTCIceCandidate' and 'mozRTCSessionDescriptionWebRTC'. The function itself has not been deleted, and it can still be used by removing the 'moz' prefix.

◆ The search function of the debugger is enhanced.
The Find in Files feature has been moved to the side panel, allowing you to open search results and file contents side by side at the same time. It also supports case-sensitive searches and regular expression searches.

◆ Enhanced code formatting
It is now possible to format inline scripts in HTML. It is also now possible to set breakpoints on formatted lines.

◆ JavaScript files can be overridden in the debugger
You can now edit scripts directly from Firefox by right-clicking a source file in the debugger and clicking 'Add Script Override'. Reloading the page will load the edited script instead of the original script.
